On 24 June 2009, Chief Dunn along with 65 other Chiefs and 2 USAF Master Sergeants from around the country, graduated from the Chief Petty Officer Academy (CPOA) in Petaluma, CA. This rigorous 5-week program tested them academically and physically and culminated with a formal awards ceremony and banquet. This was the 160th class to graduate from the CPOA! Upon arrival at the CPOA, each class is also charged with creating their own class motto. Their class motto was:
"Commitment, Leadership, and eXcellence" which also coincides nicely with their class number CLX.
Congratulations Chief Dunn on this significant accomplishment and thank you for your commitment, leadership, and excellence. We are glad to have you back!
