DO YOU HAVE A USAJOBS FEDERAL PROFILE, READ THIS.

USAJobs.com, the federal employment website, will be making some much-anticipated changes in the next few weeks. You can expect interruptions in service:

- No new job announcements posted between 10/1/11 and 10/12/11
- No access to USAJOBS between 10/6/11 to 10/12/11

The USAJOBS IT specialists will be downloading, analyzing, and re-uploading several billion documents of jobseekers who have their resumes and documents loaded into USAJobs; eliminating Social Security Numbers; re-vamping passwords (you will probably have to reset your password with your same email account after the Oct. 12 reset); and setting up parameters for Resume Mining by HR specialists.

You may not notice a difference in the look or navigation of USAJobs, but you can expect some new features that will improve your use and navigation for the HR customers who post the positions.

Before the site is down on Oct. 6, you may want to consider DOWNLOADING AND BACKING UP THE LATEST VERSIONS OF YOUR RESUMES posted in USAJOBS.
