Today we celebrate Military Spouse Appreciation Day. As a Coast Guard spouse, you sacrifice daily just as servicemembers do. We ask much of you in the way of adaptability, resourcefulness, loyalty, and emotional and spiritual strength. You never ask for anything in return.

I would like to extend my thanks to you. The Work-Life office knows how valuable you are to the Coasties who serve, and to the Coast Guard family as a whole. Your encouragement, understanding, flexibility, and strength is unmatched, and is a tribute to the honor of the organization.
